Why I’m Running for St. Vital City Councillor

St. Vital has been home for much of my life. I live here, I’ve built relationships here, and I’ve watched our community grow. The people of St. Vital are what make this neighborhood special, and I care deeply about its future.

After many years in business and leadership, I believe this is the right time in my life to give back through public service. My career has taught me how to listen, solve problems, manage resources responsibly, and bring people together to achieve results. Now I want to put those skills to work for the community that has given so much to me.

If elected, my first responsibility will be to listen. Every resident deserves to feel heard and represented. Whether your concerns are about public safety, road repairs, snow clearing, parks, development, or keeping taxes under control, I will take the time to understand your perspective and work hard to find practical solutions.

I won’t promise that every problem can be solved overnight, but I do promise to be accessible, accountable, and transparent. I will communicate openly, respond to residents, and always put the interests of St. Vital first.

This campaign isn’t about politics. It’s about service. It’s about ensuring that every resident has a strong voice at City Hall and a councilor who works every day to make St. Vital an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
